We wanted a different kind of social network, so we built one. welcome to memery, the once-a-day game where everyone posts a meme based on a random prompt. Whether you make your own, repost that really funny one you saw earlier, or let us help you make one, it’s all fair when you vote to decide the best one. we hope you brought a strong meme game

JUST ONE GAME PER DAY

We wish we had all day to play games, believe us. But we don’t and you probably don’t either. That’s why memery was designed to only be played once per day. At 11am EST, we’ll send out a custom prompt meant to inspire the best content your brain has to offer. Then at 9pm, we’ll send you a notification to come back and vote on the best one. It’s simple and quick because we get it, ain’t nobody got time for anything else.

FIND A MEME OR MAKE YOUR OWN

We can’t all be legit meme lords, and that’s okay, because memery exists for us all. You have 10 hours each day to make, beg, borrow, or steal your meme from anywhere and everywhere. Got mad photoshop skills? Use ‘em. Did you find the perfect meme somewhere else and wanna post it? Screenshot that sh*t. Want to make an original one in memery? We’ll help you. It’s all good here.

A “ONCE-A-DAY” SOCIAL NETWORK

Once you’ve posted your meme, you get to see everyone else’s. See one that you like? Double tap that. Got a pretty good take? Comment it. But remember that memery resets every day, so the prompt, memes, likes and comments all disappear. Honestly, it’d be a mess pretty quick, but also we know that social media nowadays is pretty awful, so we figured, why not save you the headache.

PLAY FOR KEEPS

There are a couple things that do stay around though. Players with the most votes win some points, maybe placing you on the worldwide leaderboard, or at the very least making you the best amongst your friends. And if you got any memes you’re too proud of to lose, just pin it to your profile for gloating purposes, we’ll let everyone know how good you did.

It’s important to remember that not all things on the internet are terrible and that there were glorious days before AI and algorithms. We built memery to try and bring back some of that carefree fun, even if it’s only for a few minutes per day. So come on in, the water’s fine.
